Solidarity for Asian Americans

Michael Peng Violinist/Board Member

"As a member of the Asian American community, these recent events have affected me in a personal way. I have always found great support and acceptance in the world of classical music. The Adelphi Orchestra has always demonstrated values of inclusiveness from membership in the orchestra to the myriad of student concerto winners who’ve passed through our doors. In the many years I have been a player and board member of Adelphi Orchestra, I have only had great experiences and fellowship with other members of the orchestra."

Concerts will be Live-streamed during the 2020-21 Season due to the Worldwide Pandemic

The Adelphi Orchestra is in the midst of designing and implementing a far-reaching artistic response to COVID19 and its restriction on performance, in order to provide live music performances to our loyal audiences, both locally and throughout the greater Northern New Jersey and metropolitan New York region, which is yearning for the outlets it has normally enjoyed.

We will do everything in our power to make this possible.

First, we are working with top specialists and organizations to virtually transform our web presence and safely bring arts into the homes of our audiences. Additionally, we have programmed repertoire that will inspire and uplift in these challenging times and are working with top local and young artists to design these events in a safe and effective environment. We view these challenges as an opportunity to not only develop artistically (in ways we never imagined) but to more firmly establish ourselves financially.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and needed.
