Join us for an afternoon of chamber music presented by the Community of Saint John Baptist in the beautiful chapel featuring two masterpieces of the Romantic era. The concert will open with Mendelssohn's String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 13, a passionate work that reflects the composer’s deep admiration for Beethoven. This will be followed by Schumann's Quintet for Piano and Strings in E-flat major, Op. 44, a dynamic and lyrical piece that showcases Schumann's genius for blending piano and strings.
